There's still 2 years left of cinema to see in this decade. We aren't all the way through this decade. If I asked you to name as many films from the 80s as you can, you'd probably name significantly less than someone who was asked this in '87. They've been weeded out from other movies too. What we think of iconic moments in films that are 25+ years old have been watched and talked about for 25+ years.
